Carrie + Steve // Tidewater Inn // Maryland Wedding Videographer

I'm so excited to share a sneak peek of Carrie + Steve's wedding film. It was evident all day how important this day was to each of them - to be surrounded by their closest family and friends as they celebrate the beginning of their next chapter as husband and wife.

Congratulations to the newlyweds, Steve and Carrie Barrie!

My Big European Adventure // Carla Elizabeth Studio Travel Film

I can't believe I even get to share this video because it means I got to go on this incredible trip. For those who don't know, Max and I have been dating since I was 15 (yes, 6 years!) and we've been traveling with our families ever since. We've always dreamed about traveling Europe together and celebrating college graduation seemed like the perfect opportunity to head across the pond for a month long adventure.

I am so incredibly grateful for this trip - and so grateful that I filmed it. This film will forever be the best souvenir I have. Special thanks to the best travel partner and filmmaker in training, Max Kiley.

Planning a trip and want a film to remember it? I have a fun opportunity for you! Contact me on my contact form or email me at

Beka + Dave // Glen Elen Farm Maryland Wedding Video

Beka + Dave are one of the most fun-loving couples I've ever met. They are hilarious to be around and don't take life (or their wedding day) too seriously. hey didn't sweat the small stuff and were just down right excited to get married. Their laid back attitude showed through in how giggly they were from Morning to night- nothing, even the heat, could remove the smiles from their faces!

Today, I'm so happy to share Beka + Dave's wedding film! Their day was all about laughter, family, good friends and most of all, their love for one another. My favorite parts of their day were Beka + Dave were constantly laughing together, how close Beka and her brother (he officiated!) and sister Renee are (reminded me of me and my siblings), the delicious cookie bar (duh!), and the 90s country songs they played throughout the night.

Without further ado, Beka + Dave Kings' wedding highlight film!

Many thank you to my second shooter Emily Belson ( and drone operator Jack Stubbs! It really was a family affair!

The Art of Love // Baltimore Wedding Shoot

It's not everyday you get to see the first moments of a couples relationship. When Nikki from Shotgunning for Love Letters started planning this shoot she knew she would bring local Baltimore vendors together to create something beautiful, but she didn't know the spark she would create. The shoot really came to life when the models, Annie and Paul, actually fell in love after meeting during the shoot. As a videographer my goal is to make art that reflects love each of us feels and I feel so lucky to have been apart of this incredible love-filled day.

Spring Styled Shoot // Bliss In The Barn

Spring is definitely one of the best times of the year - especially in Maryland. The gray cold winter weather finally starts to fade and make room for warm weather and sunshine. This styled shoot was right on the cusp of Spring so we spent the whole morning shivering but had gorgeous sunny weather all afternoon. This non-traditional rustic barn wedding shoot was perfect amounts of cozy and gorgeous with an incredible dress, bright florals, romantic hair, adorable rentals and a couple that is completely in love.

Honoring a legacy // Judy Wade Burroughs // Legacy Video

Twelve years ago, my grandfather introduced us to Judy. Little did I know, she would become one of the most important in my life and their new marriage would become an incredible example of love. Judy was more than a grandmother - she was a shining example of the woman I want to be in 50 years. She was completely true to herself and loved everyone she met unconditionally.

After a full live of faith, fun, friends and family, Judy joined my grandmother Nonnie in Heaven. This past weekend we celebrated her life and I put together a slideshow of her life to share during the reception.

This video served as a reminder how the people and memories, rather than material items and daily challenges, shape our whole life (and how cameras have changed over the years!) I'm so honored I was able to be a small part of the celebration of such an incredible woman.

Run 4 All Women // International Women's Day

In honor of International Women Day, I thought I'd share one of my favorite projects I've done this year. One of my past brides, Jami, was one of the women who ran from Baltimore to D.C. for the women's march this past January. She joined a group of women who, in 4 days, ran from Harlem, New York to Washington D.C.

These women ran 252 miles, raised $105K, and were united by one movement.

Today, I'm also celebrating one of the women whose influence was monumental in my life - my grandmother Judy. Judy was the sunshine on a cloudy day and I will forever miss her. The world was better with her in it.

Life's What You Make It // San Francisco Travel Diary

I first met Natalie and Sarah when I studied abroad in London so travel has always been an integral part of our friendship. We've reunited in Iowa, celebrated birthdays in Chicago and D.C., and galavanted around NYC so when Sarah invited Natalie and me to visit her in San Francisco we jumped at the chance.

This trip, like they all do, reminded me that true friendships aren't bound by distance but by love.

Here's to 2017!

As 2016 comes to a close, I thought I'd take a look at the past year the best way I know how by looking through my favorite video shoots of the past 12 months. This year was so special - from starting this business to standing beside my sister as got married to serving as president of my sorority - I got to experience so many different things all at once.

My 2016 was incredible - but also very busy. I want to make 2017 the year of mindfulness. I want to choose quality over quantity in all aspects of my life. Here’s to creating new films, spending quality time with friends and family, traveling to new places, and most importantly eating incredible chocolate… just kidding.. I’ll probably stick with my Dove Milk Chocolate (why fix what’s not broken, amiright?) Here's to 2017!
