Goodbye 2017

I thought about making a 2017 recap video (like I did last year!) but to be totally honest, I didn't have the time to make one! I'm thankful for how busy 2017 has kept me but looking forward to some time off editing after I finish my last two projects of 2017.

2017 has been a wild ride, personally and professionally. Here's a little list of the impactful moments of the year:

In May, I graduated from Towson University with a degree in Mass Communications with concentrations in PR and Advertising and a minor in Marketing. I LOVED attending Towson and being involved on campus (particularly as a member of Tri Delta) so I was sad to leave but so thankful for the opportunity to have 4 incredible years there. 2017 was a big year for traveling! From short trips to Lake Anna and exploring Richmond, VA to a whole month traveling in Europe and a weekend trip to San Francisco, I got to see so many new places this year. My favorites included Lisbon, London (of course!), Barcelona and Iceland.

One of the best parts of this year was making more wedding films! I'm so thankful for all of the couples that let me be a little part in their big day. There are few things I love more than weddings and I'm so happy I got to attend so many this year. I can't wait to share the last of my 2017 weddings soon!

This year I launched CES Travel Films! I finally was able to put a little dream out into the world. While I don't have it all figured out, I'm so happy I've been able to help create memory-driven films so that everyone can look back on their travels for years to come.

Losing Judy and Grandpa within 8 months of each other was one of the hardest things to face this year. They were some of the most joyful, loving and passionate people I've ever had to chance to meet. I'm thankful they are together again in heaven and for the legacy they left.

Cheers to 2017 and hello to 2018!
